As far as I know, the listings are all current and still available if they are on the site. I check with the owners when I can for updates. You will notice that there are a couple of price changes and 2 of the rentals have updated availability. I know that there are many websites in Panama with outdated listings (I even found my own house listed on another site a year after I bought it!), so I am personally making an effort to keep Puerto Armuelles current.

I am looking for land in Puerto Armuelles for a marina. Please advice. Also looking for a house.
There are several good deals on houses listed on the website. Let me know if there is something specific you’re looking for because there are quite a few homes for sale that are not listed anywhere. Word-of-mouth is the standard process of selling real estate in Puerto. Most do not even put up a for sale sign! I talk to a lot of people and know of some homes that I can point you to.
We are looking for a long term rental. At least 3 bedroom on or as close to beach as possible but still affordable.

Are their private schools nearby (and if so where and what are their names) or is it only public schools. Our daughter is 5.
The elementary schools in Puerto are public. The schools at the entrance to Las Palmas do have English classes. If you are looking for an International school, the closest locations are in David, which is 1 1/2 hours away.

I sent you an email and if you let me know when you plan to be in Puerto and any other details (length of stay, price range, number of rooms needed, and if you have an area preference – like beach), I will keep an eye out and let you know who has something available that will fit your time and other requirements. Rentals go pretty fast here and it’s hard to post them on the website since they are often gone before the ad goes up! I stay in touch with most of the renters in town and it is more of a “word of mouth” business in Puerto. Hope to meet you soon 🙂

Can you post or send me what’s the present crimes in Puerto Armuelles, Chiriqui.
Typically, violent crime is rare in Puerto Armuelles. The biggest problem here is “crimes of opportunity”, meaning that if you leave things out in the open they may disappear. I will say, since covid has dragged on so long, there have been some more home robberies along the north beach areas. This is because so many of the homeowners went back to the US or Canada and left their homes vacant. Leaving a home vacant, anywhere in Panama, is not advised. Best to have a renter or house sitter when you take an extended trip away from home.
