Tropical Beachfront Home in Panama ~ Needs Your TLC!

Have you ever dreamed of your own Tropical Getaway on the beach?

Playa Burica, Panama ~ $75,000

This could be YOUR yard!

This two bedroom (+ loft) house sits towards the back of the lot, leaving a large, private area for beachfront living and watching the waves roll in. Over 1/3 acre of ocean front land. The home includes extra storage, decks and outside shower. The 1,450 sq.ft. 3 bedroom, 1 bath home comes with full kitchen, great room, double vanity bathroom, and shower.

Unfortunately, the owners had to leave Panama before the pandemic, leaving the home vacant for several years now. It will be a “fixer-upper” for the new owner to build your DREAM HOME on the solid foundation. Contact Debbie for current photos & videos:

House is on Lot 14

The house is off-grid electrical, with municipal water, a septic system, and uses a generator for power. Solar could be added, or hook up to the power-line that was installed in the past year and is about a block away. There are 21 large lots in this ecological subdivision. All are now SOLD, except lot 11. This was the first home built and 2 others are under construction.

Enjoy sunrise from your deck, walk the beach, or just sit in a hammock all day.

Your own private Getaway. This house is ready for whatever you want to do. There are tourist attractions nearby, including a sea turtle rescue, monkey refuge & botanical garden, a Reforestation Project, and a surf camp. You can hike or bike to these places! Check out more photos of the area on their links. Fishing is a local past-time and there is abundant wildlife.

Located in Panama, Central America where jungles are still wild and as of yet undeveloped, Playa Burica sits on the Pacific Coast near the border of Costa Rica and Panama. A scenic two-hour drive from the city of David and the Airport and just 40 minutes from downtown Puerto Armuelles, with shops, banks, restaurants, hotels, and a new hospital which opened in 2019.

A new paved road, to join Puerto Armuelles directly to the Playa Burica area, was finished to the halfway mark in Limones (February 2019). This road, and other infrastructure projects will be a game-changer for the Burica Peninsula! Eco-tourism will be a major push here.

Seize the opportunity before it’s too late!
Playa Burica is the world’s best-kept secret, and it’s an investment opportunity you can’t afford to pass by. Jutting reefs, wild jungle, and crashing waves await the savvy, adventure-seeking investor in you.

Have they actually started the second phase of the road yet

President Varela flew out to Limones (after he stamped the first banana export boxes) and threw the first stones on the substrate to inaugurate the start of Phase 2, Limones to Bella Vista.

According to the May/2019 issue of the Panama Newsletter I got, said that road was completed as
of the end of May or would be. Debbie*post author) would know for sure by now.

The new road is completed out to Limones, as of February 2019. President Varela tossed the first pebbles on the beginning of what is supposed to be Phase 2 of the road. which would go all the way to Bella Vista. We just went through elections here so there has not been recent activity (common at election time). Let’s hope they get started again soon!

One of my hobbies is target shooting, how can I do this in Panama? Could I buy property with acreage and shoot or is it more controlled?
I think I’ll be fishing more but I want to keep my shooting sport.

Guns are legal in Panama, with a permit. There are areas where hunting is allowed and if you have acreage you can certainly target practice there. A permit is not needed for BB, pellet, or air rifles/pistols.

Keep me informed of any properties that become available.

I thought this property sold recently? Like most viewers I plan to travel to Panama at some point. This type of property is what I am interested in. I been following Puerto for a while and have lived off grid before on similar roads. See ya soon keep up the good work. RP

The owners bought the land a few years ago and built this house. They have a good job offer in another country and have decided to move. It is a fairly new listing. Happy to show it to you, or any others, when you make it to Panama! Contact me
