Brown Vine Snake Catches a Lizard

www.visitPuertoArmuelles.com

This pencil thin Brown Vine Snake was stalking a lizard when I mistook it for a dead vine on my fence. I almost pulled it off, which could have ended in an itchy bite from the hungry snake! The snake was over a meter long and well camouflaged. It caught it’s prey and took it up a tree before my camera memory was full. There is such a diverse variety of birds and wildlife in Puerto Armuelles.
