Have they actually started the second phase of the road yet
President Varela flew out to Limones (after he stamped the first banana export boxes) and threw the first stones on the substrate to inaugurate the start of Phase 2, Limones to Bella Vista.
According to the May/2019 issue of the Panama Newsletter I got, said that road was completed as
of the end of May or would be. Debbie*post author) would know for sure by now.
The new road is completed out to Limones, as of February 2019. President Varela tossed the first pebbles on the beginning of what is supposed to be Phase 2 of the road. which would go all the way to Bella Vista. We just went through elections here so there has not been recent activity (common at election time). Let’s hope they get started again soon!
One of my hobbies is target shooting, how can I do this in Panama? Could I buy property with acreage and shoot or is it more controlled?
I think I’ll be fishing more but I want to keep my shooting sport.
Guns are legal in Panama, with a permit. There are areas where hunting is allowed and if you have acreage you can certainly target practice there. A permit is not needed for BB, pellet, or air rifles/pistols.
