Department stores (Almacen) are large and small in Puerto Armuelles and some of them have a very interesting variety of items for sale. Often, if they don’t have something you want, the store will order it for you to pick up in a day or two. Each store is unique in what they carry and prices may vary from one to another, so be sure to ‘shop around’ for the best price.
Most of them are open to negotiation as well!
