This video was taken by the late Lee Zeltzer in 2011. Even though it is five years old, not much has changed in Puerto Armuelles. You can get a good feel for what it is like to drive from the entrance of town down to the beach in the heart of Puerto, by the old Banana Pier landmark. Also, see the roads before the sewer line construction began, which you’ll soon be able to compare to newly paved roads throughout town. If you plan to drive here, please take note of the taxi drivers, bicycles, and people that are everywhere as you get closer to downtown ~ be extra alert driving in Puerto Armuelles!
