Fishing is a popular sport and local business in Puerto Armuelles. Supplies can be found at many of the hardware stores (ferreteria) and department stores (almacen) around town. There is also a good selection at City Mall, at the Fronterra.
Pescamar – M & E Located in downtown Puerto Armuelles has a good selection of supplies, including fishing gear and tackle, spear guns, nets, some fins, masks, and snorkels, life jackets and boat repair supplies. They are open every day from 8am – 6pm and Sundays 8am – noon.
