Here is a short video of a snake that was found underneath one of the old plantation homes in Las Palmas, In Puerto Armuelles, Panama. The snake is called a Fer-de-Lance, or el Terciopelo, and it is a poisonous species of Viper. They are nocturnal and rarely seen around homes, but we should always be cautious living near the jungle, in the tropics. This guy was safely removed from the area and nobody was bitten. Always watch where you walk!
