This is some great drone footage that shows a bird’s eye view of the surf at the tip of the peninsula, Punta Burica. It’s about a 1 1/2 hour drive south from Puerto, but the time should be significantly reduced when the new road to Bella Vista is finished. If you can find a boat to take you there ~ even better! A bed at the Burica Surf House, a cute Boutique Hotel right on the beach, is only $20 per person and 3 meals a day are $30 per person.
